Client money is held by the licensed broker under the rules of its licence. The broker's name, licence number and how client funds are safeguarded will be published on the Legal page before launch.
That is what the Managed account is for: a professional trades it under a written mandate you sign, and you see every position in your own account. Fees and terms will be published before launch.
Leveraged products can lose money quickly. Whether your losses are limited to your deposit depends on the broker's negative balance protection policy, which will be set out in the terms of business.
